“The only person who behaved sensibly is my tailor. He takes new measurements every time he sees me. All the rest go on with their old measurements.” George Bernard Shaw

Imagine spending life stagnant. We know how it effects water, yes? So how does it effect us? If we stop the flow, how do we grow?

I have spent many hundreds of hours over the last few years meditiating and cultivating my wellness and wholeness. Ive worked on forgiveness, and past trauma. As Ive mentioned in previous posts Ive spent alot of time healing. So, is it healing? Or is it simply enough to call it growth, life? Does how we view a situation imact its hold over us (good or bad)? Hell yes!

In the realm of internet culture, we encounter an abundance of memes, poignant sayings, and empowering affirmations that endeavor to encapsulate the essence of life and its purpose. Amidst this digital tapestry of wisdom, one fundamental question persists: what is the true purpose of life?

It is within this contemplative inquiry that a profound realization emerges for me – that we exist primarily for ourselves, not for the gratification or validation of others. While this notion may initially appear self-centered or egotistical, it prompts a discomfort within that really challenges our ingrained societal conditioning.

In essence, our existence is an individual journey, uniquely tailored to our own experiences, aspirations, and growth. When we become tangled in external expectations and the incessant demands of others. This perpetual cycle of catering to the needs and desires of others raises a poignant question: Whose life are we truly living – theirs or ours?

By embracing the concept that our journey is inherently personal and self-directed, we are compelled to redefine the boundaries. It is through this introspective process of self-discovery and self-assertion that we reclaim agency over our lives, forging a path that is aligned with our innermost truths and aspirations.

In essence, the purpose of life transcends the confines of societal expectations and external validations We are invited to embark on a transformative journey of self development.

For me, the boundaries here though are clear. Am I working towards the next best version of myself? If the answer is yes, then there really are no other questions. How people react to me as a result of this can only be their stuff and quite simply none of my business. There is Yin and Yang in every situation. My job is to work on mine.

That's where Qigong has become my greatest passion (yes kids, I mean after you).

Working with my Qi has become a solid focus and, to be honest, I can't get enough.

Opening my mind to learning new things is a practice that I have embraced wholeheartedly. It allows me to stay in a state of flow, where my curiosity is constantly piqued and my knowledge continues to expand. Through this process, I have not only discovered more about the world around me but also about myself. It has been a journey of self-discovery that has led me to find inner peace and contentment.

Now, as I stand at this point in my life where I have gained valuable insights and understanding, I am filled with excitement at the prospect of sharing this learning with you. I believe that knowledge is a gift that becomes more valuable when shared, and I am eager to pass on the wisdom and lessons that I have accumulated along the way. Together, we can embark on a journey of growth and discovery, enriching each other's lives through the power of learning and connection.
